I am a long time friend of Effie’s.
I was very sorry to hear of her passing.
I will miss her greatly. She will be missed by many people.
I will miss her. Miss Effie and I shared some special times and fun while I worked with her at the Connection.
Sorry to hear of the loss of your sister, mother and grandmother. Effie was such a nice, nice lady. She will be missed!
When I heard Effie passed away, I was shocked. I worked with her for almost six years at the Connection. We had some good laughs. It’s hard to believe. Prayers & condolences go out to her children & grandchildren. Have a good trip to the spirit world.

I am sad at the loss of our good friend and will always think of her and how she loved laughing and joking. As I read the obituary, I remembered her story to me about her Auntie who was always telling everyone that they never listened to her; and at a feast for some holiday or birthday, there was a table set out for Indian tacos. She told me her auntie had put a baking dish on the table and everyone was making their taco, putting the meat then the refied beans and the rest; when her Auntie piped up, “I told you guys you never listen to me, I told you that was baked sweet potatoes.” Everyone had thought they were refried beans. Thanks, Effie, for the memories.
Auntie, I miss so much. Wish you was here.
