Edward “Eddie” George Schwartz, age 62, died on December 28th, 2020 from respiratory failure secondary to COVID-19 in Saint Paul, MN.
He was born on December 1, 1958 in St. Paul, the son of August Schwartz and Josephine Day.
Eddie loved being with his family, spending time with his dogs, finding local events to experience with his wife, attending sporting events, reading a thrilling murder mystery or catching a new movie. He worked at National Checking Company for 26 years as a machinist.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl Schwartz, two stepdaughters Deanna DeMay (Brad) and Shannon Welsh, siblings Dorothy “Dottie” Marie Day Kuczaboski, Kenneth “Ken” Martin Schwartz (Betty), Deborah “Debbie” Ann Plaster (Tim), Ronald “Ron” Joseph Schwartz, Steven “Steve” Gregory Schwartz (Blanche), Gordon “Gordy” Allen Schwartz (Serena), grandson Mark Runquist as well as many nieces, nephews, three special niece and nephews: Lisa Plaster, Nick Plaster and Tim Plaster, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents August “Augie” Schwartz and Josephine “Jo” Day Schwartz and brothers Gerald “Jerry” Day and Charles “Charlie” Schwartz.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the International Wolf Center in Ely, Minnesota or the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, Minnesota.
