Dwayne Scott Dzubay-Percy, “Dweezy”, age 15, of Minneapolis Journeyed to the Spirit World on Friday, January 13, 2023.

He was born on September 16, 2007 in Minneapolis.

Dwayne was a freshman at Patrick Henry High School and was on the “A” honor roll.   He held many trophies for football and basketball.   Dwayne took pride in his appearance and enjoyed looking his best!
He was a member of Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe and was a former grass dancer.

Survived by his father: Brett Dzubay-Percy (Dana); mother: Sasha Weyaus; siblings: Joseph Dzubay-Percy, Elijah Weyaus, Kaleb and Kosraeah Demo, God Brother Michael Demo Jr.; grandparents: Karen “GiGi” Dzubay and Valerie Jimenez; other relatives and many friends.

Preceded in death by his grandfather Robert Allen Percy, his uncle Cody Thompson and his cousin Trinidad Flores.

Funeral services for Dwayne Dzubay-Percy “Dweezy” will be held on Monday, January 30th at 10:00 A.M. at The Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center, 2300 S. 15th Avenue, in Minneapolis.

All night wakes will be held beginning on Friday, January 27th at 6:00 P.M.  and will continue until service time on Monday, January 30 at The Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center in Minneapolis.
