Dorothy C. Entinger, age 78, of Winsted passed away peacefully on Friday, April 27, 2012 at St. Mary’s Care Center in Winsted.

Dorothy was born on August 2, 1933 in Winsted the daughter of Martin and Katherine (Helmbrecht) Kieser.

She was joined in holy marriage to Fred M. “Fritz” Entinger on September 27, 1952 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. God blessed their marriage with six sons.

Dorothy was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Holy Trinity CCW, St. Anne’s Society and was a co-chair for the Holy Trinity Prayer Network. Dorothy was a homemaker for many years but also cleaned homes for a variety of families in Winsted and also worked at the canning factory for Green Giant. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, and playing cards. She also enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens. She was a volunteer for many years at St. Mary’s Nursing Home.

Dorothy is survived by her sons Calvin (Beth) of Maple Grove, MN, Ronald (Carol) of Chanhassen, MN, Michael (Cynthia Ann) of Mound, MN, Daniel (Cynthia) of Silver Lake, MN and John (Colleen) of Waverly, MN, grandchildren Nicholas (fiance Sarah) , Matt, Jillian, Ashley, Madison, Kristyn (David) Lacina, Melisa, Jason, Nathan (Monica), Jeremy, Timothy, Stephanie (Alex Brandt), Morgan, Wyatt, and Nicole, great-grandchildren Hailey, Rebecca and David, siblings George (Helen) Kieser, Leonard (Margaret) Kieser, Martha Rohling, Alfred Kieser, Joe (Janice) Kieser, Donald (MaryAnne) Kieser, and Jerry (Debbie) Kieser, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son Gary Entinger, and sister Mary Entinger.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 4-8 P.M. at The Chilson Funeral Home. A CCW/St. Anne’s Rosary will be at 4 P.M. and Parish Prayers will be said at 8:00 P.M.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Father Tony Hesse and Father Eugene Brown as concelebrants. Interment follows at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Carey Kieser, Paul Kieser, Matt Kieser, Tom Kieser, Steve Rohling and LeRoy Entinger.
