Doris Ann Bayerl, age 80, of Monticello died on Monday, December 12, 2022 at her residence.
She was born on May 23, 1942 in Maple Lake, MN the daughter of John and Magdalen (Osterbauer) Cantin. She graduated from Maple Lake High School in 1960
On September 5, 1964 Doris A. Cantin and James J. Bayerl were united in holy marriage at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Maple Lake, MN. God blessed their marriage with three children.
Doris was employed for many years as a secretary/bookkeeper at the Farmer’s Cooperative Creamery in Winsted.
She was a very social person who enjoyed her family and friends. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Through the years, Doris and Jim did a lot of snowmobiling, 4-wheeling and pontooning. She also enjoyed dancing.
Survived by her loving husband of fifty-eight years James J. Bayerl; children Dave (Julie) Bayerl of Big Lake, MN, Dianne (Char Drieman) Bayerl and Deanne (James Frisch) Kania all of Monticello, MN; six grandchildren Nicholas, Joshua, Caitlin, Samantha, Ryan and Olyver; five great-grandchildren Presley, Harly, Maggie, Elijah and Evelynn; a twin sister Rose (Bill Wagner) Dahlin; a brother Lester “Butch” (Linda) Cantin; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents and a brother Harold (Bette) Cantin.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Doris Bayerl will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted, MN. Father John Hayes will be the Celebrant. Inurnment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
Doris’ urn bearers will be her twin daughters.
Visitation AT THE CHURCH on Friday, December 16th beginning at 9:30 AM.
Love you Doris, I will miss you forever.
I will always miss Doris, she has a special place in my heart. May she be at rest and her family feel peace and calm. I’m grateful to have known her.

Jim, David, Dianne, and Deanne I’m so sorry to hear of Doris passing away. She was such a fun-loving person. Always a smile on her face. I will cherish memories of her forever. She’s riding the pontoon in Heaven now !
