Delbert Michael Sexton, age 78, of rural Howard Lake passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at St. Mary’s Care Center in Winsted.

He was born on February 4, 1931 in rural Mayer the son of Clarence & Catherine Keefe Sexton.

Delbert was formerly employed for many years at Green Giant in Winsted, Cokato and in Glencoe.

He enjoyed pitching horse shoes.

Delbert was a faithful, lifelong member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted.

Survived by his sisters: Eileen Pysick of Watertown, Rita (Donald) Johnson of LaCrosse, Wisconsin and Patricia (Dennis) Neaton of Crystal; a sister-in-law: Ardis Sexton of Watertown; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents: Clarence & Catherine Sexton, brothers: Marvin, Leo & Erwin Sexton, sisters: Lucille Sexton & Dolores C. Keefe, a sister-in-law: Delores Sexton, brothers-in-law: Donald Keefe & Lauren Pysick.

A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial for Delbert Sexton will be held on Saturday, March 28th at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. Concelebrants will be Father Gerald E. Keefe and Father William A. Sprigler. Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 27th at The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted from 4-8 P.M. Further visitation will be held on Saturday morning, March 28th from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at the funeral home.

Casket Bearers will be Mark Keefe, Bradley Neaton, James Sexton, Phillip Sexton, Steven Henriksen and David Pysick.
