David Allen Roberson, “Little Red Fox”, age 53, of Lakeville, Minnesota journeyed to the Spirit World on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Our Lady of Peace Hospice House in St. Paul, Minnesota.

He was born on May 17, 1959 in Minneapolis the son of Ralph Roberson and Beulah Flute. He was a member of The Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate. David was formerly employed in gaming in Las Vegas and in The Virgin Islands. He was a former Pit Boss at The Dakota Magic Casino. David was fond of horses, golfing, softball, fishing, and attending pow-wows.

Survived by children: David Roberson, Sean Roberson, Rebecca Roberson and Mary Roberson; brothers & sisters: Robert LaRoque, Faith LaRoque, Bill LaRoque, Chuck LaRoque, Roger Terry, Georgia Lee, Lynne Hanson, Shawn Terry, Sherri Billington and Pamela Roberson; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents Ralph Roberson and Beulah Flute Roberson, grandfather Taylor Flute, grandmother Levina Townshend and by a sister: Roberta Starr.

A Memorial service for David Roberson will be held on Monday, September 17th at 1:00 P.M. at St. John’s Church, Lake Traverse District. John Cloud III will officiate. Interment St. John’s Episcopal Cemetery.

An all night wake was held on Sunday, September 16th beginning at 4:00 P.M until midnight at The Lake Traverse District Center.

The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, Minnesota served the family.

    He had another son, Robert David Thompson, MY son. Shame on yous for not having the decency or compassion to list him along with Davids other children let alone try to contact him!!!!

    Thanks for listing me…… HAD SO MANY KIDS HE FORGOT ABOUT A FEW OF US….. or was the rest of the family ignorant to us fortunate enough to not be considered blood….????
