On Monday July 11th, 2022 Cynthia “Cindy” Thaemert of Montrose, MN passed away at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN due to heart complications.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Shirley Sterner; siblings, Bill Sterner, Debbie LePage, & Randy Sterner; and cousin, Laurie Diers.
She is survived by her loving family: husband, Doug; children, Brianna (Tjaart) Kwilinski, Ashley (Malachi) Peterson, Joshua Thaemert and special friend Cherron Rood; granddaughter, Lexi Johnson-Peterson; siblings, Mike Sterner, Kevin (Cathy) Sterner, Connie Stafford, Fred Sterner; Godparents, Martin and Carol Sterner; mother-in-law, Lorraine Thaemert; siblings-in-law, Elaine (Milan) Wischnack, Judy (Paul) St. Ores, Tom (Pauline) Thaemert; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Cindy had many passions in life ranging from playing games and doing puzzles to traveling and working in her garden. She loved her garden and could often be found sitting on the front step admiring her years of hard work, and delighting in the sight of the hummingbird family that frequently stopped by.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 11:00 to 2:00 PM, with a prayer service and time of sharing at 2:00 PM, at Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, MN.
