Craig Michael LaFontaine, age 50, of Minneapolis Journeyed to the Spirit World on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Hennepin County Medical Center.

He was born on October 11, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Ernest & Sara J. LaFontaine.

Craig enjoyed teaching Early Childhood Education. He also enjoyed horses, husky dogs and writing. He was an artist and a story teller.

Survived by his father: Ernest LaFontaine of Chicago, Illinois; a brother: Bryce LaFontaine of Minneapolis, Minnesota; sisters: Debbie LaFontaine of Chicago, Illinois Karen LaFontaine of Chicago, Illinois and Patti LaFontaine of Ramsey, Minnesota; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his mother: Sarah J. LaFontaine and a sister: Jacqueline Rivera and by his grandparents, numerous aunts and uncles.

Graveside Services for Craig LaFontaine will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Ball Club, Minnesota.

An all night wake will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at The Ball Club Community Center-Lone Eagle in Ball Club, Minnesota beginning at 7:00 P.M.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Nelson Vasquez and Michael Rivera.

Casket Bearers will be Dion LaFontaine, Tony Rivera, Eric Perez, Jason White, Gabe Benitez, Kyle Fairbanks, Kevin Fairbanks, Bryce LaFontaine and Brian Perez.
