Corrie Leigh Taylor, age 29, of Minneapolis journeyed to the Spirit World on Wednesday, November 7th, 2018, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was born on June 13th, 1989 in Minneapolis, the daughter of Gregory A. Taylor and Aileen Sanchez. She attended St. Paul Washington Middle school. Corrie was a free-spirited person, who was very outgoing, she loved her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, camping and hanging out with family and friends. Her favorite color was purple. Corrie liked to color, write poems and play games on her phone.
Survived by her husband: Nathaniel Washington; mother: Aileen Sanchez; step-father: Joel Sanchez; children: Brice J. Branch and Marissa M Eagle; brothers: Gregory Taylor II, Joel Sanchez III and Hippolito Sanchez; sisters Angel Morrison-Taylor, Jenny Mendoza, Leane Sanchez, Natasha Sanchez and many other family and friends. Preceded in death by her grandparents; father: Gregory Taylor and a niece: Madeline Brooke Sanchez.
An all-night visitation will be held on Monday, November 12th, 2018 beginning at 7:00 P.M. at Church of the Blessed Kateri. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 13th, 2018 at 11:30 A.M. at Church of the Blessed Kateri. Officiating is Pastor Shawn Phillips. Drum Group will be Hoka Hey.
Interment: Oak Hill Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
