Colter Richard Arbach, age 22, of Sisseton, South Dakota Journeyed to the Spirit World on Saturday, November 22, 2014.

He was born on April 20, 1992 in Sisseton, South Dakota the son of William Arbach and Kim Thompson.

Colter was currently employed as a Security Officer at Dakota Magic Casino.

Colter was a B.I.A. Wildland Firefighter and fought fires in Colorado, Arizona, and the Black Hills of South Dakota. “Buck” was his dog’s name a full blooded German Shepherd. Colter enjoyed spending time with “Buck” playing fetch and he had taught him many tricks. He also had several aquariums and had several varieties of fish. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, 4 wheeling, fishing, and camping in the Black Hills with his father. He enjoyed playing Xbox games with his friends and brothers. He was also an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. Colter really enjoyed driving his dad’s corvette! Colter was very polite, kind-hearted, well-mannered, friendly, helpful, easy going, and always there for his friends and family, he loved teasing his siblings, having good fun and laughter, and he always had a smile on his face.

Survived by his father: William Arbach; mother: Kim Thompson; brothers: Justin Arbach, David White Jr. and Asa White; a sister: Gia Thompson; maternal grandfather Sylvester Marks, his closest best friends/brothers Cody Bird and Jace Starr, and other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Richard and Darlene Arbach, his maternal grandmother Joyce Thompson, Aunt Cheryl Anderson, and cousin Christopher Lacasse.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Colter Richard Arbach will be held on Wednesday, November 26th at 10:30 A.M. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Sisseton, South Dakota. Father Jerry Ranek will be the Celebrant. Graveside will be held at 12:00 Noon at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Sisseton, South Dakota. The Organist for the Funeral service will be Cindy Marohl.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25th from 4-8 P.M. at St. Peter’s Church Hall. A Prayer service will be held at 7:30 P.M.

Casket Bearers will be Cody Bird, Jace Starr, Garret White, William Ryan Jr., Garrett Fonder and Mike Lacasse.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Colter’s family, relatives, and friends.

Prayer service 7:30 P.M. Tuesday, November 25th
All night wake Tuesday, November 25th from 8:00 P.M. to 10:00 A.M. Wednesday morning.

    I remember Colter as a nice polite young man who I always hoped would carry out my groceries when he worked at Teal’s. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.
