Colette “Mimi” Dawn Bugg, born to Karen “Tiny” Davis and Clayton Robert Bugg in Minneapolis, MN. An enrolled member of Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians. Her Indian name is Miigwaniins (Little Feather), a powerful name given to by her grandfather, Charles Bugg Sr., of Ponemah, MN. Mimi grew up in Saint Paul Minnesota with her Dad, Clayton, before relocating up north with Re’chard “FooFoo” Morgan Bridges I, to raise her family in Hinckley, MN. Mimi began her journey Thursday, February 2, 2023, surrounded with the love of her family, she was cherished by her children and many loved ones, including friends, all of whom held her in high regard as a friend you could count on to be caring and thoughtful and full of kindness, and will miss the laughter and humor she brought into their lives. She is preceded in death by brother Clayton “CJ” Bugg Jr.; Grandfather Charles Bugg; Grandmother Geraldine Bugg; Uncle Shawn Bugg Sr.; Antie Rose Kingbird; Grandmother Theresa “Mattie” Dunkley; Grandfather James Dunkley, Uncle Ingo Skjefte; Antie Debra Dunkley; Antie Sandra Sayers; and Antie Patricia Islandt. Mimi is survived by her mother Karen “Tiny” Davis, of Hinckley, MN; and father Clayton Robert Bugg, of Duncan, British Columbia; her sister Katie Ann Bugg; her brother Buster Brown Dunkley; and younger sister Corrina Rae Davis, all of Hinckley, MN; and Windy Rae Bugg, of Neah Bay, Washington; and her beloved children, Re’Chard Bridges, Kari Toney, and Terrell Bugg, all of Hinckley, MN.
