Cleone Janice Seaboy “PeeWee” “Tasina Sna Win” (her shawl jingles Woman), age 65, of Sisseton, South Dakota journeyed to the Spirit world near Veblen, South Dakota.

She was born on June 6, 1946 in Sisseton the daughter of Thomas Brant and Evangeline Seaboy.

Cleone graduated from High School from The Flandreau Indian School and later pursued her education at Haskell Indian Nations University in Kansas. She received a culinary arts degree from Portland Community College.

Cleone held many jobs in her life, including cooking and watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was a two time State Chorus Jitterbug Champion. Cleone enjoyed going to the casino, spending time with her family, attending Pow Wows, watching her sons play moccasin and having lots of fun! She always put the needs of others before hers and always helped people in any way she could. She smiled a lot and often made people smile. Even though Cleone was always sick and in pain, she never showed it. She was a fighter and wasn’t going to let her illness get the best of her!

Survived by four loving children: Darell (Tammy) Decoteau Jr. of Eden, South Dakota, Brian (Maria) Decoteau of Sisseton, South Dakota, Seava (Clarence) Sartwell of Sisseton, South Dakota and Claudine (Mike) Urton of Fargo, North Dakota; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; her mother: Evangeline Seaboy Brant; brothers: Dennis Brant of Peever, South Dakota and Randy LaBelle of Sisseton, South Dakota; sisters: Shirley DeMarrias of Peever, South Dakota, Becky LaBelle of Sisseton, South Dakota and Judy LaBelle of Sisseton; many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her grandparents: William “Bill” Seaboy & Lydia “Oyate Mani Win Seaboy, her daddy Thomas Brant and by an infant brother.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Yvonne Bear, Brenda Redday, Patty Feather, Chantel Demarrias, Louella Cloud, Rhonda Kampeska, Janet Brown, Delveen Seaboy, Debbie DuMarce, Valerie Paul, Stephanie Paul, Sally Paul, Sue Kipp, Josephne Smith, Lisa RedWing, Tabetha Thompson, Delight Varnes, Joyce Crawford, Darlene Redday and Tara Bearhead and her many friends and family.

Casket Bearers will be Brandon Adams, Keith Decoteau, Dillion Decoteau, Bryant “Elliot” Decoteau, Thomas Demarrias, Walter Seaboy, Londell Seaboy,
JJ Frank, Jessel Seaboy, Danny Seaboy, Ian Seaboy and Justin Arbach.
