Claudia Kaye Brown, age 42, of Minneapolis, Minnesota journeyed to the Spirit World on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was born on January 19, 1978 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Dennis Brown Sr. and Lettie Morrow. Claudia was a member of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. She was employed as a Clean Up Specialist. Claudia was one awesome, beautiful soul. She was a spunky ball of fire whose smile and laughter were infectious. Even though she wouldn’t say or think so, she is one of the boldest, strongest and persistent, colorful women you had the pleasure of knowing. She loved her family deeply and always tried her best to give them what they needed. Claudia was interested in many things. She was very creative, she loved doing arts and crafts and was an extremely talented drawing artist. Claudia liked dancing and music, and spending time with her girls doing many things. She has two other boys whom she loved dearly, Gabriel LaDeaux and Anthony LaDeaux. She had lived in Mexico with her youngest, Favian, and his dad before coming back home. She kept fond memories close to her heart of that time. She has been very happy at home spending time with her very fat cat Noah (it’s not fat it’s pure muscle) and hubby, Stan Strong (Tigger), they loved each other’s company. She is in a much better place but she is not gone, she lives on in all our hearts and until we are with her again. She will be with her parents, something she wanted when the time came. They will be watching us and guiding us through. We all love you!!!
Claudia is survived by her daughters: Delphine Brown and Tashina Benais, Adriana Strong, Amerees TeJohn; sons: Favian Brown, Gabriel LaDeaux, Anthony LaDeaux; hubby: Stan Strong; Fat Cat: Noah; brother: Dennis Brown Jr.; sisters: Claudia Derby and Julianne Kelsey; many other loving relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents.
