Survived by: Mother Geraldine “Toni” Vilas, Children: Sheena Engelke (“Lex” Cooper), DeVona Engelke, Jolita Vilas, Donald Blackhawk (Tia White) Sisters: Tracy Engelke (“LJ” Howard), Arlena Rush (Brandon Pryor), Cheryl Bigbear (Sonnyman Bigbear), Sharon Engelke Grandchildren: Marcel Jackson-Engelke, Corrie Jackson, De’Vaeyah Miller, Jaevionna Vilas and many aunts uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceded in Death by: Father Donald Engelke, Grandmother Margaret Stone, Grandfather Robert Vilas, uncles: Rodney Vilas, Percy Vilas, Eugene Vilas Aunt: Yvette Brinkley, Father-in-Law Donald Blackhawk, Significant Others: Troy Davis, Jason Friend.
Wakes will begin Tuesday, April 1st, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. and Wednesday, April 2nd All Day and Night at The Church of Gichitwaa Kateri in Minneapolis.
Funeral Service for Christie Engelke will be held Thursday, April 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Gichitwaa Kateri, 3045 Park Ave. Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Father Mike will be the Officiant.
