Cheryl Tormanen, age 55, of Spring Park and formerly of Winsted passed away on Friday at The Elim Nursing Home in Watertown.

She was born on January 30, 1957 at Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis the daughter of Carl & Theresa Bueche Tormanen.

Cheryl was a longtime waitress starting at Lord Fletchers. She was a waitress for ten years at Red’s in Howard Lake and then managed Red’s for two years. She also was employed at The Howard Lake Bowling Alley.

She enjoyed going to concerts and the casino. Cheryl was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Cheryl also liked to fish.

Survived by husband: Thane Fry of Spring Park; sons: Brady (Megan) Tormanen of Winsted, Bobby Tormanen of New Germany and Jamie Fry of Spring Park; grandsons: Mason & Ethan; brothers: David (Theresa) Tormanen of Rockford and Brian (Sonya) Tormanen of Mounds View; a sister: Sandy (Randy) Hatch of Mound; father-in-law & mother-in-law: Glen & Beverly Fry; sister-in-law: Lorie Gray (Steve) Ritchie; Brother-in-law: Terry (Kelly) Fry; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by a son: Danny Fry on October 27, 2007 and by her parents: Carl & Theresa Tormanen

A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 16th at 10:00 A.M. at The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 15th from 5-8 P.M. at The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted.
