Cheryl “Sherri” June Mussetter, age 65, of Sisseton, South Dakota passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
She was born on January 11, 1945 in Ortonville, Minnesota the daughter of Hartwick M. & June M. Ellis Allison.
Cheryl “Sherri” Allison & Gordon Mussetter were joined in holy marriage.
Sherri & Gordon engaged in farming for many years.
Sherri was well known for her wonderful cooking, her beautiful flower gardens and her passion for animals. She enjoyed going to auction sales with her husband. She was very proud of her thirty years working in the Food Service Industry and dearly loved all of her co-workers.
Sherri was a strong and independent woman. She lived her life to the fullest and would help anyone in need and never expected anything in return. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
Survived by her loving husband: Gordon Mussetter; sons: Bryan (Shelly) Mussetter of Princeton, Minnesota, Kelly (Kristi) Harrison of Monticello, Minnesota, Todd St. John of Sisseton, South Dakota and Cory Mussetter of Kent, Washington; daughters: Beth (Rick) Stiefel of Watertown, South Dakota, Brenda (David) Koeppe of Britton, South Dakota, Bonae (Guy) Ebel of Alexandria, Minnesota and Amy Christopherson of Perham, Minnesota; seventeen grandchildren & five great grandchildren; a sister: Nadine Allison; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Cheryl “Sherri” Mussetter were held on Friday, August 13th at 2:00 P.M. at Grace Lutheran Church in Sisseton.
Interment Sisseton Cemetery.
