Charlene Faye McKee, age 50 of Redwood Falls passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at her residence.

She was born on July 24, 1961 in Red Wing, Minnesota the daughter of Charles LeBeau and Gladys Leith-Scharmer.

She lived on the Westside of St. Paul and surrounding areas of St. Paul for most of her life until moving to Redwood Falls 5 years ago.

She enjoyed beading, crossword puzzles, cooking, and collecting miniature things. Charlene was a loving mother, sister and aunt who always looked forward to spending time with family & friends at gatherings and celebrations. She will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew her.

Survived by children: Morris John McKee Jr. of St. Paul, Sophia Lauren Sara Blue and Charles Alexander Lebeau Blue both of Granite Falls and Niiwin Curdez LeBeau of Redwood Falls; siblings Lynette Cora Swaser and Violet Mae Scharmer both of St. Paul, Wayne Elmer Scharmer of Redwood Falls, Scott Allen Scharmer of Wakpala, South Dakota and Pamela Christine Scharmer of West St. Paul; godmother Mary Jane Winfrey; plus many loving nieces & nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents Charles Lebeau & Gladys Leith-Scharmer and godparents: Amos & Ione Owen.

Graveside services for Charlene McKee will be held on Thursday, June 14th 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Prairie Island Community Cemetery.

A visitation will be held at The St. Paul Council of Churches, 1671 Summit Avenue from 12 Noon till 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 13th. An all night wake also will be held on Wednesday, June 13th at The Owen Home Residence in Prairie Island beginning at 6:00 P.M.

Casket Bearers will be Wayne Scharmer, Scott Scharmer, Clark Leith, Antoine Urban,
Jesse Quinn and Evan Peltier.

The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted , Minnesota is serving the family.
