Chariah “Chayo” Louise Jones, age 22, journeyed to the Spirit World on December 14, 2021 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was born on October 31, 1999 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The daughter of Anthony Gurneau and Gloria Elliott. She was enrolled as a member of the Red Lake Tribe. Chariah worked as a cashier for Merwins Liquor Store.
She is survived by her father: Anthony Gurneau; mother: Gloria Elliott; brothers: Charles Jones, Anthony Jones and Achilleus Jones; sisters: Aleia Jones and Lilyana Jones; grandparents: Roberta Elliott, Karen Gurneau and Louis Jones; and many other loving relatives and friends.
