All Night Wake

Celeste Lee (Apple) Jackson, age 36, journeyed to the Spirit World on April 13, 2018.

She was born on January 12, 1982 in Pine Ridge, South Dakota and is the daughter of Sharon Apple and Troy Stoesz.

Celeste was able to connect with anyone through her outgoing personality and sense of humor. She had a contagious laugh and a beautiful smile that would light up a room. She was poetic, loved music and singing and had a way with words that resonated with people. She appreciated the beauty in people, loved gardening and brought glamour to anything she did. Her beautiful, charismatic spirit will continue to live through all the lives that she touched. She is loved by many and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by children, Anthony Apple, Lakota Apple, Sage Apple, Selestina Apple-Hinojosa, Patrick Apple, Paris Jackson; mother, Sharon Apple; father, Troy Stoesz; sisters, Sonya Apple, Leslie Apple, Carrie Adams; husband, London Jackson; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by grandmother Edna Short Horn and grandfather Leroy Apple.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Gichitwaa Kateri Catholic Church. Art Owen will officiate. Hoka Hey Drum Group.

Traditional wake service will be held at 5 PM on Thursday, April 19th followed by an all-night wake at Gichitwaa Kateri Catholic Church.

Honorary casket bearers will be all of Celeste’s family and friends.

Casket bearers are Anthony Apple, London Jackson, Dennis Abbott, Nation Wright, Lakota Apple, Johnnie Jackson, Sage Apple, Daniel Hinojosa, Robert Senn, John Hughes and RaSean Burnette.

Chilson Funeral Home is serving the family.
