Cassie was born on December 3, 2010 to Melanie J. Valentine and Micah A. Lufkins.

Cassie was preceded in death by Maternal Grandfather, Richard Valentine and Maternal Great Grandfathers, Robert Valentine & Levi DuMarce Sr.; and Paternal Great Grandparent, Howard D. Genia Sr., and Paternal Great-Great Grandparents John Cloud Sr. & Bessie Cloud.

Cassie is survived by both of her parents; Melanie Valentine and Micah Lufkins, both of Sisseton, SD, one sister, Angelina Ramirez of Sisseton, SD, Maternal Grandmother, Kathleen DuMarce of Veblen, SD, Maternal Great Grandmother, JoAnna (Frenier) Gill of Waubay, SD, and Paternal Grandparents, Mike & Mary Goette of Browns Valley, MN and Paternal Great Grandmother, Pansy Genia of Sisseton, SD, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

All Night wake will be held TODAY, January 31st beginning at 8:00 P.M. at Long Hollow District Center Lake Traverse Reservation.

Cassie to be laid to rest at the Long Hollow Presbyterian Cemetery, Rural Sisseton, South Dakota.

The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, Minnesota is serving the family.
