Carolyn Irene LaFontaine, age 75, of Blaine journeyed to the Spirit World on Monday, November 2, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.
She was born on March 10, 1945 in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of Carl Tinsley and Parlee George.
She is survived by her husband: Eugene LaFontaine; sons: Brian Husnsucker and Ronnie Heart; a daughter: Sheri Poor; fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; 2 brothers and 4 sisters as well as other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her father Carl Tinsley, mother Parlee Tinsley, her daughters Kelly and Laura Hunsucker, and her two brothers Bobby and David Tinsley.
Carolyn lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures, cooking and baking, Playing her favorite games on her smart phone, puffing on her E-Cigarette, listening to her favorite music, especially Snoop Dogg and Train, collecting all things Tasmanian Devil, and never missing an episode of WWE Wrestling and General Hospital. But above all cherishing her time spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Carolyn touched the lives of many in a deep and positive way and will be missed by all who know and love her.
A Memorial Service for Carolyn Irene LaFontaine will be held on Friday, November 13th at 2:00 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home.
My heartfelt condolences to all. She was a great sister to me and I’ll always cherish all the memories we had together. Although I can’t be there in person, I’m there in spirit. I love you Carolyn, RIP.
