Angelicia Grace Champine, age 32, of Minneapolis, MN journeyed to the Spirit World on January 26, 2016 in Minneapolis.

She was born on October 20, 1983 in Minneapolis the daughter of Roger Champine and Sheryline Neeland.

Angelicia was a member of the Oniciye Women’s Group. She enjoyed the summertime, especially swimming, going to waterparks and being active. She loved spending time with her kids, her family and friends. She had a passion for reading and writing in her journal. Her favorite holidays were Halloween and Fourth of July. She was involved in her church, beading classes and loved shopping. Angelicia had the biggest heart! She was loving, compassionate and honest.

She is preceded in death by a son Jacob Michael Antone; father Roger Dale Champine; grandmother Doreen Mary Stone; grandfather’s Eugene Richard Stone Sr. and Lawrence Ortiz; and uncle Eugene Richard Stone Jr.

She is survived by her husband Rodney Alan Champine; son Caspian Lawrence Champine; daughter Kaylie Aleena Champine Antone; sisters Brittany Jayne Rosebear, Sherrylynn Marie Rosebear, and Tiffany Ann Rosebear; other relatives and friends.

An all-night service for Angelicia Champine will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 beginning at 1 PM at Little Earth Community Gym in Minneapolis. A service will be held at 7 PM with Pastor Dorothy officiating.

Additional all-night service will be held on Saturday, January 30 beginning at 5 PM at Pine Point School in Ponsford, MN. A service will be held beginning at 7 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 31 at 1 PM at Pine Point School in Ponsford, MN.

Interment at St. Theodore’s Cemetery, Ponsford, MN.

Honorary casket bearers will be Demitri Neeland, Kaylie Champine Antone, Caspian Champine, Jayden Reyes, Tristan Rosebear, Ivan John Sisto Jr., Eugene Sundquist, Ningozis Stone, Nick Stone, Jeremy Lemieux, Floyd Bullhead Jr., Richard Ellis Stone, Brandon Ellis, Jazmine Neeland, Karina Reyes, Illiana Rosebear, Nina Hand, Dorlene Stone and Stephanie Stone.

    Angelicia was on the speech and debate teams I coached at South High School. She was always kind, fun, and warm-hearted. She had a sharp mind and was a lovely person. I’ll be keeping her kids and the rest of her family in my thoughts. I’m very sorry I missed the memorial service.
