Allen Jay Baldwin, age 61, of rural Howard Lake passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 22nd, 2017.

He was born on January 28, 1956 in Waconia the son of Allen J. & Ella A. (Emery) Baldwin.

Allen J. Baldwin and Kathleen M. Brummer were joined in holy marriage at St. Francis Catholic Church in Buffalo on May 27th, 1978 by Father Francis Reynolds. God blessed their marriage with three sons.

Allen farmed in Victor Township, Wright County. He was the proprietor of L P Gas Service for the last fifteen years.

He enjoyed John Deere Tractors and antique Ford cars. Allen also enjoyed time at the cabin.
He was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted.

Survived by his wife: Kathleen “Kathy” Baldwin; sons: Travis Baldwin and Lucas Baldwin & fiancée Amanda; his mother: Ella Baldwin-Vierick; many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his son Brian Allen Baldwin.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Allen Jay Baldwin will be held on Wednesday, June 28th at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. Father Paul Schumacher will be the Celebrant.

Interment will follow at Kreidler Cemetery rural Montrose.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 27th from 4-8 P.M. at The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted. A KC Rosaray will be recited at 5 P.M. and Parish Prayers at 7:30 P.M. Further visitation will be held on Wednesday morning, June 28th from 9-10 A.M.

Casket Bearers will be Lucas Baldwin, Bob Bakeberg, Mike Nemitz, Gary Brummer, Troy Lange and Bob Schendel and Pat Seth.

    Baldwin family. I was sorry to hear of Allen’s passing, I found out about it only yesterday (9-7). We had bought dryer gas from Allen for many years and I had always enjoyed doing business with him. He was a fair and hardworking man who always put his customers first.
