Adelbert James Baptiste, age 63, of Red Lake passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013 in Bemidji. He was born on November 2, 1949 in Red Lake the son of Roman Baptiste Sr. and Frances Stately. He was an avid outdoors man who loved to hunt, fish and trap. Adelbert was a very good auto mechanic. He liked to go to the casino and to visit with family and friends. Survived by sons: Wesley May, Doran Neeland and James Roper; daughters: Lucinda Ryan and Tara Ryan; sisters: Eugenia Ryan, Rachel Schoelkoph, Lucy Bellanger and Jane Tarnow; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; a special sister. Marian Martin; special nieces: Heather May & Roma Lussier. Preceded in death: his parents, brothers: Roman Jr., & Fabian Ryan, Wilbert Ryan Maxwell, daughters: Nola Parkhurst, Allison May, granddaughter: Mercedes Rainey, grandparents: Albert & Lucy Stately, Rachel & James Stands and John Baptiste Ryan.
